The Spanish teacher is responsible for delivering Spanish curriculum instruction to each preschool classroom. Teachers are expected to nurture emotional development, provide intellectual stimulation, and ensure an equitable learning environment for all children in each class.

This is a part-time position, 8 hours per week. Hours are 8:50am-12:50pm, two days per week. Closed for holiday breaks and the month of July.
Compensation

Position Duties
- Rotate through preschool classrooms delivering outlined Spanish curriculum
- Work with Head of School to plan, modify, and improve curriculum
Professional Expectations
- Treat all children with respect and use positive discipline techniques
- Communicate with room teachers and Head of School on all student concerns
- Remain alert and focused on the students at all times
Required Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Ability to bend many times a day due to continuous involvement with children
- Ability to do a lot of jumping, dancing, and continuous movement with children
Required Experience
- Fluent in Spanish
- 1-2 years experience working with children in the age range of 2-5 years old
Preferred Education
- North Carolina Early Childhood Credential or
- Education/Early Childhood Degree or
- Music/Psychology Degree
